Sunday
I'm not sure whether it was a delayed reaction to lugging significant quantities of baggage and the occasional goblin across airports the other day, or whether I just slept on it funny, but my left shoulder and upper back have been really aching these past couple of days.
This morning I decided that going swimming would either:
a) Make it a lot better; or
b) Make it sufficiently worse that I wouldn't be able to go back to work tomorrow.
Either way's a winner ;o)
Fortunately, my back felt a hundred times better after my swim. Having done a sufficiently virtuous amount of exercise, I indulged myself in the afternoon by slumping on the sofa in front of The Dark Crystal, which is a film I'd not seen in years. I'd forgotten how fab it is! :o)
In the evening (after sneakily inviting myself along at the last minute!), I went to the East Ocean Cafe for
keitel's post-hen, pre-wedding meal out, which was loads of fun. I managed to resist both the Bento Boxes and the crispy duck (for a change), and had what was officially declared to be the world's most interesting starter - crab and asparagus in a seaweed cornetto...
P.S. - In case you've not been lucky enough to catch it on the telly yet, The Trailer is now online. Soooooon!!! :oD
P.P.S. - I'm planning on going to see the 8.15pm showing of Scrat Attack! Ice Age 2 at Cineworld this Wednesday. Anyone interested in joining me?

You know, a weekend when everybody's likely to be away and finding it difficult to get an hour in front of the telly...

David Tennant stil reminds me of that guy from Top Gear, but I'm sure it will rock. If not I will send Derek the Dalek round to swear at someone :D
