I understand what people didn't like about the Star Wars prequels, but on balance I liked them: the annoyances didn't bother me as much as others.
I object to every scene that was an obvious setup for a computer game rather than a valuable scene in the movie, though (podracing, the robot factory fight)
And, y'know, Midichlorians.
I think the new versions of the old trilogy have got the nerd rage up more than the prequels. Greebo shooting first was the unforgiveable George moment. Editing Hayden Christensen into the end of Jedi was just so unnecessarily tinkering.
Imagine a new Indy where they rework the fight scene in the market "as George intended" where Indy actually swordfights the giant dude instead of just shooting him. It could yet be coming.
