Snow day

The view from my window this morning:

I seem to be extremely busy of late. Partly this is because the run up to April is always busy at work (I put in an extra five hours last week, which is normal at the moment). Partly it's because I keep filling my evenings with fun stuff, like yummy Thai buffet with Lard Club at ChaoBaby, an experimental (and well-attended) FFS at The Ball, and seeing The Company's version of Maskerade. But it was also quite nice yesterday to just sit in my living room watching the snow fall.

So, who's up for going out to play in it today? :o)

EDIT: Met up with the Chiverses in the park. The Goblin and I christened the circular sledges. The Bug was unimpressed.

Jamie and I are up for it but that would require us going down, so far a bus has run passed the road. Jamie has asked to go out playing in snow. We still got bucket and spade from summer play in sand, so may go and build snow fort.

Also, we have round sledge!

We're just having breakfast, then we were going to take the kids to the park to christen the sledge and introduce the bug to snow. Wanna come? :-D

I'm meeting the Chivers in the park in about ten minutes. Come down! :o)

Damn, wish I'd seen this sooner, we'd have joined you. We left a rather peculiar snowman behind, and S. Dog ate far too many snowballs :-D.

I did look out for you, having seen your FB post, but didn't see you. We were over on the Middlewood Road side of the park from about 12:15 to about 1:30. There were lots of other sledgers and snowman-builders :o)
