Geek advice needed

WANTED: a decent gaming PC, no set-up or install hassle, budget c. £1,000

Any suggestions / recommendations?

It's not for me; it's for a friend. The only games I use my computer for are Cowtris, Minesweeper and Spider Solitaire. I really don't need a high-spec machine for those :o)

Cooling tower photos

I seemed to spend a good portion of the bank holiday weekend taking photos around Tinsley - before, during and after the big bang. Slightly obsessive perhaps, but it's not like an event like this happens very often in your home town.
