Geek advice needed

WANTED: a decent gaming PC, no set-up or install hassle, budget c. £1,000

Any suggestions / recommendations?

It's not for me; it's for a friend. The only games I use my computer for are Cowtris, Minesweeper and Spider Solitaire. I really don't need a high-spec machine for those :o)

These days £1000 will buy you an absolute beast of a computer.

For the budget, and minimal hassle, I'd look to pimp out a Dell XPS laptop.
