Quote of the day

Hooray for BBC readers' comments :o)

The rise of the designer toddler

"A quick way to nip this idiocy in the bud? Compulsory sterilisation for anyone seen buying Heat magazine. Simple."

ARGH STAB THEM ALL IN THE HEAD!

I mean, seriously. There's a sort of twisted logic to buying full size designer stuff, but kids grow so fast they'll be through it in 6months regardless of what you buy. $Suitable_Deity bless Sue Lee!

I spend more on dressing my toddlers than I do myself... but then some of my t-shirts are over a decade old ;)

I don't buy heat tho' ;)

Surely that's only to be expected - After all, they're going to get through clothes much quicker than you!

I just have a general antipathy towards anything designer labelly. And I think I've still got some t-shirts from about 1993 too ;o)

I have shirts which are older than I am :)

they don't make shirts like they did in the late 80's! ;) wearing one today!

Poppy of Yarm is one designer I do use - items sniped 2nd hand off ebay! ;) The fabric is really good quality, most dresses only worn once (ie were kept for best by previous) - and have fab pictures (including poppies - my fave flowers!)
B and roo have a collection of these to grow into, up to about age 5! Get 'em while they're cheap!
None I like on ebay at mo tho' :( rah!
;)
