Weekend of Stuff

Saturday was ace - talma's all-day stag do. First off a bunch of us saw the brilliant, barmy, bloody, Burtonised Sweeney Todd. Then we went climbing at The Foundry (Eeek! Scary but fun!). After a swift pint in the Fat Cat, it was home for a quick shower/change before meeting up with gothicgoverness's hen party for dinner at the always fabulous Wasabisabi (Mmmm, Sushi Platter Deluxe...) followed by more beer at the Dev Cat. Good day :o)

Sunday kind of came and went without a trace. I got up, did the usual weekend chores (washing, food shopping), and suddenly it was 5pm and time for roleplaying.

Today, by contrast, I managed to pack much more in (I'm still on 3-day weekends - Yay!). I sorted my current/savings accounts out at the bank, got shot of donated a whole load of soft toys to a grateful Red Cross shop, bought a shiny new wigetal camera to replace my b0rked old one, and saw Aliens vs. Predator 2 (which was every bit as trashy as you'd expect, but c'mon, Aliens! Predators! Predaliens! er, Alietors!). And now I'm off out to see the slightly classier In The Valley Of Elah.
