Steel City Beer Festival *hic*
Sep. 30th, 2011 12:48 amSo, Sheffield CAMRA finally see sense and organise an autumn beer festival inside rather than in a freaking tent and... the weather's absolutely stunning. Typical.
Ah well, it did mean we actually had proper beer glasses rather than the plastics of the last few years.
I'm not really complaining - it was a good night in a good venue with plenty of very good beer. And leaving work at 3pm so we could go for Chinese buffet beforehand was definitely a good plan :o)
A word of warning to those going tomorrow - It did get very warm in there, and it'll be busier and warmer tomorrow. We bagged a table near the (open) fire exit doors, which made it bearable / pleasant. I suggest you do the same.
Oh crap, I have to get up to go to work in a few hours, don't I...?
