I saw Three Billboards the other day, and while I really enjoyed it, I didn't find it as darkly humorous as, say, "Fargo" or "In Bruges", which I was kind of hoping for and expecting. The dark humour is there, but it's very sparse, and the film overall is much much harsher than either of those. While that does work to its credit, I was a touch disappointed that it wasn't the film I was hoping to see.
I realise that that's more a problem with me than with the film, but I think it's worth mentioning to anyone expecting something more along those lines, to help set expectations better.
