rich_jackoYikes! I'm glad that summer has finally arrived and all, but it really is just too damn hot at the moment. I went swimming this morning, which was lovely for cooling me down, but half an hour after I finished I was sweltering again. Retreating home, drawing the blinds and flinging all the windows open was definitely in order.

edy_'s barbeque last night, and I've just walked home at midnight for the second day running, in a short-sleeved shirt and no coat. The weird thing is, it's not even fully dark yet. I know it gets like this every year close to the solstice, but it still catches me out every time.
Dilemma for the week - Do I give in and catch the tram to work, since it's really too hot to walk? Or do I figure that at least if I'm outside I'm in the open air, and it'll be a hundred times worse on a packed tram? Hmmm...
P.S. - Hoo-bloody-rah. And not before time. Now hopefully all this nonsense can be laid to rest once and for all.
