Just to let you know, Neil H is now lurking on LJ with the cunning username of neil_h. I knew all that nagging would wear him down eventually ;o)

Highlights for me this week have been a fab dinner as always at Chez Lahlou for ju_bear's birthday, and Torchwood - which has managed to be tense, moving, morally complicated and just generally brilliant for the whole week (even if I did yell "Hey!" at the 'cockroaches of government' gibe). So how come the first two series were just so much smutty trash?

Bloody hell Torchwood was depressing! Good, but depressing. Although I did laugh at the "shooting up on children" bit - I said exactly those words just before the character. So I am clearly twisted :D

A more triumphant ending would've been nice after all the downers, but the ending they had was still very good.
