Silencing the critics

Well done, Jenson! :o)
A thoroughly deserved F1 World Champion. I haven't understood those who've been saying he was falling apart under the pressure for the last few races. He's always come across as level-headed and relaxed, and he's kept on banking the results.
Okay, he's not been winning races since the first half of the season, but whether he's been fighting at the front or in the middle of the pack, he's delivered consistently good drives. Aside from a shunt at Spa that wasn't his fault, he's scored points in every race this season, which is a phenomenal achievement. That consistency, along with some truly brilliant overtaking moves (something of a rarity in F1 these days) is what's won him the Championship in the end.
I feel a bit sorry for Rubens - I really hoped he'd finally get to win his home Grand Prix. But overall it's a fairytale ending for Brawn GP - a team that didn't exist at the beginning of the year winning both Championships.
Mind you, it'd be nice to see someone winning the title in style - from the top step of the podium - next year.
