Random, unconnected Wednesday thoughts

- I find myself now working back on my old team, the one I left in September. This feels slightly odd, but not in a bad way.
- Just when I though video games couldn't get any sillier, I get to play as a Lego Sith Lord with an oversize comedy 'tache, wielding a double-ended Broom o' Doom!!!
- Demolishing a manky bus stop to build an equally grim one ranks as one of the most pointless things I've seen recently. You can tell it's getting near the end of the financial year.
- Was I born out of time? I've really enjoyed both Life on Mars and Breakfast on Pluto, but mainly for the music and the complete and utter 70s-ness of them both :o) (Hmmm, interestingly connected titles, those two.)
- I'm quite glad I didn't take up the offer of going to Charles Clarke's recent presentation on immigration and ID card - I may have got myself sacked/arrested/put on someone's database of troublemakers if I had...
- Huzzah for the Coop and its squillions of BOGOFs! A £19.07 bill magically turns into £12.49! :o)
- I love the person in our Policy Team who overruled several of my managers. I've never met her, but I now want to marry her, for letting me thoroughly nail one of my least favourite clients to the wall! :oD
- Kicking out the England manager - possibly not the greatest booster just before the World Cup? I hope those whose bitching and backstabbing led to this accept some of the blame if we perform really abysmally in Germany.
- So, if I won £100m, just how much would I have to give away to ease my conscience?
