Asylum of the Daleks was pretty good. A nice, creepy "Aliens" vibe and it certainly goes a long way to redeeming Steven Moffat's reputation after his last few episodes. I loved the Dalek / human zombies in the escape ship.

I've no objection to them bringing back the RTD-era (and better-looking) Dalek design, but how come there's a whole ship full of them? In the last Dalek story there were only five new-style Daleks left, and they exterminated the previous-style Daleks after deciding they were inferior. Also, wasn't Skaro supposed to have been destroyed? I don't mind the writers doing these things, but they need to at least add a couple of lines explaining the continuity. (I've got the same issue with the Cybermen - previously all trapped in a parallel dimension, now they seem to be all over the place.)

That's a minor gripe. Really the only other thing this episode needed was (oddly enough) more Daleks. After all the hype about "every Dalek ever" being in it, I kind of wanted to see the Special Weapons Dalek in action again ;o)

Next week: Dinosaurs! On a spaceship!

Cybermen isn't so difficult to explain, there were cybermen in the prime universe before 10 crossed the void into Lumikverse allowing those cybermen to follow him back - That doesn't explain how the Prime cybermen are built to Lumik's design though, maybe Lumik's cybermen sent out a message, maybe the Prime cybermen were monitoring earth when Lumik's cybermen invaded and they updated themselves to the superior design. They wouldn't get pulled back through the void, they didn't have any contact with voidstuff.
