Dates for your diaries - I am planning to host Doctor Who evenings on the following Saturdays:

12th October - The 8th and 9th Doctors
26th October - The 10th Doctor
9th November - The 11th Doctor
23rd November - The 50th Anniversary
14th December - The Christmas specials

These have been cunningly chosen to avoid match days. Well, all except 23rd November which is a Fixed Point in Time (TM) and therefore immovable.

Any requests for particular episodes?

Gosh, so many favourites. Here are my suggestions.

9 - Dalek
Empty Child/Doctor Dances

10 - Girl in the fireplace.
Human Nature/Family of Blood.
Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords.
Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
Midnight.

11 (a) The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang/The Impossible Astronaut/The Day of the Moon/A Good Man Goes to War/Let's Kill Hitler/Closing Time/The Wedding of River Song

(Wanted to suggest The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People in there too, because it explains Amy being a doppleganger and giving birth to Melody right before A Good Man Goes To War, but that's already 6 hours of Who right there.)

11 (b) Amy's Choice

Asylum of the Daleks/The Snowmen/The Bells of Saint John

The Name of the Doctor

Of the two sets I've listed for 11, I think I slightly prefer 'b'. But they are only suggestions, as for all the doctors, so mix/match/ignore according to your (and everyone else's) whims.

(Did you maybe want to save The Name of the Doctor for Nov 23rd, as a pre-special warmup? Or maybe even the Asylum/Snowmen/Bells/TNotD arc?)

This is the problem, too many favourites to choose from! :o)

For 9, I'm currently thinking: Rose, The End of the World, Dalek, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances.

10 is a real struggle, which I'll come back to later.

For 11, I've already ruled out the Season 6/32 story arc. There's just too much of it and the complete lack of sense to the Silence's plan still annoys me. The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang are enormous fun though, so I may go for those (preceded by The Eleventh Hour?) and some of your 11(b) list.

I need to check the final schedule for 23rd Nov. The Name of the Doctor is a possible warm-up. Given they're coming back, I was also thinking Terror of the Zygons might be a good warm-up as well.

At some point in the future, I may do a separate "Master" evening, with Utopia / The Sound of Drums / Last of the Time Lords followed by The End of Time parts 1 & 2.

All of those look good to me. I deliberately missed Blink off my list, even though it's one of my favourite episodes ever, because it has so little of The Doctor in it. But I'd be very happy to see it.

I completely missed The End of Time as I was just looking through the season episode lists, and ignored the specials. Doh!

Yeah, the "Silence" arc is awfully clumsy, but Pandorica/Big Bang are great, I like A Good Man Goes To War because of the Melody/River reveal, Let's Kill Hitler is tremendous fun, and The Wedding of River Song has the wibbly-wobbly all of history running at once. And at that point, you've got half (or more of) the arc anyway.

The episodes individually are good, but they don't hang together well. I think that's probably why I preferred my b) list.

I think your idea of picking a few from that arc to stand by themselves (like Pandorica/BB) is a good one.
