Well, I guess the Beeb decided to beat Hollywood by jumping on the 06/06/06 bandwagon three days early. That was a scary one. Forget that godawful tripe with The Rock, this was how the Doom movie should have been made! I swear the Sanctuary Base doors in this episode used exactly the same sound effect as the original game :oD

P.S. - Huzzah for the return of the quarry! And cliffhangers!! And Gabriel Woolf!!!

The light-up tennis-balls on a cord that killed people were strangely cool too :)
Loved the foreshadowing - oods spouting prophecies and then tapping their communicators... the beast turning up in the captain's holographic projector etc etc.
