...to the colleague who ordered vegetarian-only food for our team event yesterday and then didn't turn up.

We reckon she was sat somewhere, in front of a pile of chicken legs and ham sandwiches, laughing maniacally at us all.

It wasn't good - Half the team seemed to have mild food poisoning the next day! (No mean feat for vegetarian food!) We narrowed the culprit down to either the onion bhajis or the mushroom pate. Fortunately I escaped as I went nowhere near either of those.

The irritating thing was that everyone had told me in advance how good the food normally is at these events...

I agree with you that she is probably laughing her ass off somewhere. Does she hate someone in the team??

yes, i hate it when there is a let down after the hype of good food. But luckily u didn't have food poisoning!
