The rules are easy, just post 10 things that recently made you happy!
1. Having a fab time atclarestar and bez_loves_pie's Shocktail party. Managing to drink cocktails until 2am and still feel absolutely fine after waking up six hours later :o)
9. A recent upsurge in the number of movies worth seeing. In the last couple of weeks I've seen Stardust (fantastic and hilarious), Eastern Promises (gritty and engrossing), 30 Days of Night (scary and atmospheric) and The Last Legion (cheesy and fun). And I'd still like to see Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Beowulf, Planet Terror and Into the Wild.
10. Having enough annual leave left to take every Monday off work from now until the end of February :oD

Cleverly choosing to order pie before the fireworks started instead of joining the mile-long queue for burgers. The fireworks being better than previous years. Getting this fab photo: 3. Getting Doctor Who Series 3 and The Infinite Quest (Yay! Tony Head and skeletal space pirates!) on DVD. 4. Various recent Goblinisms: "One shiny loot, two shiny loots, three shiny loots." "What comes after three shiny loots, Evie?" "Another shiny loot!" "Evie eat a yellow duck!" "Oh no! Dice!" "Quack-quack-raaah!" (the noise made by a duck-tiger!) 5. Lots of friends getting married over the next few months. 6. My sister and her family moving out of the freezing cold hell hole they've had to live in for the last couple of months. 7. Going to two birthday parties over the weekend ( gourou's 2^5-1st and Alex's 1st) and eating lots of cake.8. Smashing giant crabs (Yum!) and dinging to sixth level. |  |
