It was mostly gone by lunchtime, but there was still some left along the Rivelin valley.
I took my night-time walk at half midnight, on the way back from J&A's reception, just as the snow was starting to come down properly. It was that absolutely perfect snow weather where the air was crisp and the wind was not too harsh, but just strong enough to whip the snow around in flurries and make it dance in the air - a Magical World indeed.
For some daft reason everyone else seemed to be piling into taxis rather than walk home and enjoy the amazing weather. What a wasted opportunity :o)
