I'm pleased to say I got 8/8 on the first attempt, proving that I at least have the intellect of an 11-year-old. Though I did need to scribble down some notes for question 1.

7 out of 8, but then I took a stab at the number sequence one, partly because I'm a bit pushed for time and couldn't work it out properly.

Pleased at getting 1 right. It's been a looooong time since I had to do that kinds of maths.

Ditto - I wasn't sure whether galloping or racing would be faster and got that one wrong. But, otherwise 7 out of 8. Grammar school for me.

I shouldn't really be surprised, I suppose.

And re: question 1, it's been a long time since I've had to do that sort of thing, but pleased that I managed to get it right.

I got all of them, but I did need the back of an envelope for the maths questions. I used to hate those sequences of numbers questions too.

Hmm, I had to use paper for the first two (no calculator mind you!), and had to think hard about the third. The fourth I got wrong about of sheer bloody mindedness, because no-one uses whom any more.

Whew, at least I'm still Grammar School material :-D
